Tying instructions
Place the hook in the vise.
Create a thread base extending to the bend of the hook.
Cut a strip of black foam approximately one hook gap in width.
Secure the foam along the top of the shank using two loose wraps before tightening.
Fold a rubber leg in half and secure along opposite sides of the shank.
Add a strand of indicator material on top of the foam.
Apply adhesive to the thread wraps to prevent the fly from spinning around the shank.
Pull the forward-facing indicator material toward the rear and secure with dubbing wraps.
Lift the foam and dub the remaining shank.
Secure the front of the foam approximately one eye length behind the eye.
Tie in a second set of legs and indicator wing slightly longer than the rear set.
Pull back the forward-facing indicator material and secure with dubbing wraps.
Whip finish and apply super glue on the thread to secure.
Trim the leg loops and head/tail section, then shape the indicator material.
