Tying instructions
Secure the wet fly hook in the vise.
Start the thread at the hook eye and wrap rearward to the bend.
Tie in a length of white Antron yarn at the bend to form the trailing shuck, extending one hook-gap length beyond the bend.
Create a dubbing noodle with olive brown Hareline Hare Tron Dubbing on the thread.
Wrap the dubbing noodle forward to form a tapered body, stopping at the 60% mark.
Cut a small bunch of natural Hareline Premo Deer Hair and tie it in at the 60% mark to form the wing, extending to the end of the body.
Create another dubbing noodle with dark brown Hareline Hare Tron Dubbing.
Wrap the dark brown dubbing noodle forward to form the head, stopping one eye-width behind the eye.
Whip finish, trim the thread, and apply head cement to secure.
