Tying instructions
Place a copper tungsten bead on the hook.
Wrap orange glo-bright floss on the hook shank, tie off with half hitches, and snip free.
Apply UV resin to the floss and cure.
Burn away any fuzzies with a lighter.
Start black thread behind the bead and build a taper back to the bend.
Tie in a piece of copper wire at the bend for ribbing.
Continue the taper with thread.
Tie in pheasant tail fibers at the bend, tip first, for the abdomen.
Remove the excess pheasant tail fibers.
Wrap the pheasant tail fibers forward to create the abdomen, tie off, and snip free.
Counter wrap the copper wire forward to create the ribbing, tie off, and helicopter free.
Add olive ice dub to the thread to create a dubbing noodle.
Wrap the dubbing noodle to create the thorax.
Whip finish two times and snip the thread free.
Add a tiny bit of UV resin to the collar for durability.
Brush out the thorax with a toothbrush to make it more buggy.
