Tying instructions
Grasp a hook in pliers and gently bend the front portion of the shank upward.
Create a thread foundation along the straight portion of the hook shank extending to the bend.
Attach flash material at the hook bend, then wrap thread forward over it.
Wrap the flash forward and secure it with thread, then trim away excess material.
Optionally, coat the flash body in a thin layer of UV resin.
Rotate the hook and tie in a sparse bunch of white bucktail along the bent section.
Bind 6-12 strands of flash on top of the bucktail.
Tie in a second sparse bunch of colored bucktail atop the flash.
Build a thick thread head and perform a whip finish.
Attach stick-on eyes to each side of the thread head and seal with UV resin.
