Tying instructions
Attach 3/0 Danville's Monocord thread just above the hook point.
Wrap a thread base halfway down the bend and back.
Tie in a 16lb monofilament weed guard from just behind the hook point to halfway down the bend.
Coat with head cement.
Tie in a clump of white polar fiber for the tail, about twice the hook shank length.
Tie in a few strands of pearl flashabou on top of the tail.
Tie in another clump of white polar fiber on top of the flashabou.
Lift the butt ends and tie them down to create a blocky stop.
Tie in a white saddle feather by the tip, leaving some fluff at the base.
Fold the feather back and bind it down.
Trim the stem.
Apply head cement.
Attach Semperfi Nanosilk 200 Denier thread behind the eye.
Make a thread base to the front of the collar.
Turn the hook upside down.
Tie in a large clump of white deer belly hair on the bottom of the hook.
Take a turn of thread over the hair and pull down to flare the hair.
Turn the hook back to the original position.
Use a razor blade to trim the face of the fly, creating a bullet shape.
Lift the weed guard and tie it off with the red thread.
Apply head cement.
