Tying instructions
Create a thread base extending the length of the hook shank.
Tie in crystal flash at the base of the shank. Overlay with a similar length of zonker strip (fur up).
Secure to the shank using a pinch wrap.
Cut a 3/4 inch wide strip of craft foam (approximately 2.5x shank length).
Secure foam along the length of the shank. Tie in ice chenille at the bend.
Wrap the ice chenille forward and secure. Tie in a contrasting color of ice chenille.
Wrap the second ice chenille forward and secure behind the hook eye. Trim excess.
Fold the craft foam forward and cinch behind the eye.
Add a few wraps in front of the lip to adjust angle if desired. Trim to length.
Lay a contrasting craft foam hot spot along the cinch point.
Cinch the hot spot along the same line. Whip finish and apply super glue on the thread.
