Tying instructions
Secure the jig hook in the vise.
Add 4-6 turns of .015" lead wire to the shank and slide forward to the rear of the hook eye.
Start the thread behind the lead wraps and create a thick thread base over them, then wrap rearward to the bend.
Attach a 3mm adhesive eye to each side of the shank immediately behind the hook eye.
Secure the eyes with a thin coat of UV resin and cure.
Cut a tuft of rabbit fur from a zonker strip and tie in at the bend of the hook for the tail, extending one hook shank length.
Create a dubbed body with pearl Ice Dub, wrapping forward to the midpoint of the shank. Brush out to free some fibers.
Tie in a bunch of white Laser Dub along the top of the shank behind the eyes, securing it at the midpoint.
Part the forward-facing Laser Dub fibers and pull back along the underside of the shank. Secure with thread.
Whip finish, trim the thread, and apply UV resin to complete the head. Brush out Laser Dub to create the desired taper.
