Tying instructions
Place the hook in the vise.
Create a thread base beginning above the hook point and extending down the bend.
Tie in wire ribbing along the top of the thread base, leaving 3 inches extending from the rear.
Build a thick, tapered abdomen with thread along the original base.
Counter-wrap the wire over the abdomen, secure with thread, and remove the excess.
Move the thread forward and apply an even coating of UV resin over the abdomen.
Tie in a single grizzly hackle approximately one eye length behind the hook eye.
Apply a single wrap of hackle, secure with thread, and trim the excess.
Build a thick, tapered head with thread from the hackle to the hook eye, then whip finish.
Apply UV resin to the thread head to complete.
