Tying instructions
Secure the hook in the vise. Start thread behind the eye and wrap to the bend.

Tie in fine copper wire at the bend for the rib.
Select 4-6 additional pheasant tail fibers and tie in by the tips at the bend.
Wrap the pheasant tail fibers forward to the 1/3 point to form the body. Tie off and trim.
Counter-wrap the copper wire rib forward in 4-5 even turns. Tie off and trim.
Tie in 2-3 peacock herls. Wrap a small thorax just ahead of the body. Tie off and trim.
Select a partridge feather. Tie in by the tip and wrap 1.5-2 turns of soft hackle.
Tie off and trim the feather. Stroke fibers rearward.
