Tying instructions
Secure the streamer hook in the vise.
Start the thread at the hook eye and wrap rearward to the 1/3 point of the shank.
Tie in the lead dumbbell eyes at the 1/3 point using figure-eight wraps and secure with a thread dam.
Wrap the thread rearward to the bend of the hook.
Select two white saddle hackles and tie them in at the bend, extending one and a half times the hook shank length.
Tie in several strands of pearl Flashabou over the hackle, extending slightly beyond the hackle tips.
Cut a small clump of white bucktail and tie it in at the bend, extending to the length of the hackle.
Advance the thread forward to just behind the dumbbell eyes.
Cut a small clump of chartreuse bucktail and tie it in behind the dumbbell eyes, extending slightly beyond the hook eye.
Wrap the thread forward to the hook eye, building a smooth thread head.
Whip finish and trim the thread.
Apply a thin coat of UV resin over the thread head and cure.
