Take a grizzly saddle hackle and tie it in a tented style at a 45-degree angle.
Secure the hackle with a few wraps, then trim the excess.
Clean up the section with thread wraps.
Take a bunch of silver Flashabou, pull on the ends to taper it slightly, loop it, and tie it in.
Select the softest and longest hair from a white bucktail tail.
Take a pencil-width bunch of white bucktail, remove the shorter hairs, and tie it in with a few semi-loose wraps so it spins around the hook shank.
Work the bucktail around the hook shank to the desired position.
Secure with a few tighter wraps.
Fold the bucktail back, weaving the thread through the bucktail, and wrap in front of it to create a thread dam.
Ensure the ties are even top to bottom and left to right.
Apply super glue to the thread dam.
Take a small amount of pink bucktail and tie it in the front of the fly with a few semi-loose wraps.
Fold the bucktail back, weaving the thread through the bucktail, and wrap in front of it to create a thread dam.
