Tying instructions
Secure the hook in the vise.
Start the thread and create a thread base.
Tie in two pieces of black crystal flash for the shuck, keeping them on top of the hook shank.
Advance the thread forward.
Apply a small amount of super glue to the hook shank.
Wrap the crystal flash back towards the bend to form the body.
Tie off the crystal flash and trim.
Dub a small amount of black super fine dubbing onto the thread.
Wrap the dubbing forward to create a small bump.
Select three white CDC feathers and align the tips.
Tie in the CDC feathers as a wing, brushing them to ensure they are aligned.
Trim the excess CDC feather butts.
Select a pink CDC feather and align the tips.
Tie in the pink CDC feather on top of the white CDC wing, making sure it is shorter than the white wing.
Trim the excess CDC feather butt.
Select a grizzly hackle feather and remove some of the fibers to expose the stem.
Tie in the grizzly hackle feather with the shiny side up.
Wrap the hackle forward two times.
Tie off the hackle and trim the excess.
Whip finish and trim the thread.
Optionally, add a small amount of head cement to the head of the fly.
