Tying instructions
Secure the hook in the vise and start the thread just behind the hook eye.
Tie in a piece of white UNI 6/0 thread like wire, along the near side of the hook shank.
Wrap the dark brown thread back over the white thread to about halfway down the bend of the hook.
Keep the white thread thick and wrap the dark brown thread back up the hook shank to the starting point.
Roll the dark brown thread in your fingers to cord it up a bit.
Wrap the white thread forward in evenly spaced turns, rolling it in your fingers so it doesn't flatten out too much.
Tie off the white thread at the starting point and clip the excess.
Tie in a piece of Glamour Madiera with several tight turns.
Cut the front end of the Glamour Madiera off.
Twist Mahogany Brown Superfine Dubbing tightly onto the thread.
Dub an oversized head with the dubbing.
Build a ball with the dubbing and then with bare thread behind the hook eye.
Whip finish the dark brown thread and trim the excess.
Pull the Glamour Madiera forward and trim it square across just about even with the hook eye.
