Tying instructions
Step 1: Secure the saltwater hook in the vise.
Step 2: Start the thread at the hook eye and create a thread base extending to the midpoint along the shank.
Step 3: Tie in six to eight strands of holographic flashabou along the bottom of the hook shank, pulling rear-facing fibers to the near side of the hook bend.
Step 4: Pull the remaining flash back and tie in along the opposite side of the hook.
Step 5: Measure out a section of white EP fiber and tie in at the midpoint along the bottom of the hook shank.
Step 6: Pull back the forward-facing fibers along the opposite side of the hook and secure with thread.
Step 7: Tie in a similarly sized clump of blue/black EP fiber along the top of the hook shank.
Step 8: Pull back the forward-facing fibers and secure with thread before repeating steps 5 and 6 twice more.
Step 9: Create a tapered thread head extending to the hook eye. Whip finish and cut your thread.
Step 10: Trim your minnow to the desired shape.
Step 11: Attach adhesive eyes with superglue and add finishing touches with a permanent marker.
Step 12: Secure thread wraps and eyes with a coat of UV resin and cure.
