Tying instructions
Secure the nymph hook in the vise.
Start the thread at the hook eye and create a thread base extending to the hook bend. Trim thread tag.
Make 4-6 wraps of lead-free wire towards the rear of the hook shank.
Wrap the thread forward to secure the lead-free wire, then return the thread to the rear of the lead-free wire.
Tie in the Ultra Chenille at the bend of the hook.
Wrap the thread forward to two eye lengths behind the hook eye.
Wrap the chenille forward in touching turns to the thread tie-off point. Secure with thread and trim excess chenille.
Tie in two strands of rubber legs along the top of the hook shank, ensuring equal portions of each leg extend forward and back from the tie-down point.
Pull the forward-facing legs to the rear and secure with thread.
Build a thread head and whip finish.
Apply UV Resin or Flex Seal to the head if desired.
Trim the legs to the length of the hook shank to complete the fly.
