Tying instructions
Secure the hook in the vise.
Start the thread behind the eye and wrap back down the shank, going past the bend and down the bend past the barb.
Wrap the thread back up the shank, leaving about 1/4 inch behind the eye, and trim the tag end.
Measure out the Mylar cord to extend about 1 inch off the rear of the hook.
Double the Mylar cord over on itself.
Remove the core from the Mylar cord.
Lay the doubled Mylar cord on top of the hook shank and lash it down to the top of the hook shank, about 1/4 inch behind the eye.
Wrap the thread down a little bit on the bend of the hook.
Wrap the thread back up to the tie-in point.
Tie in the Spirit River I-Balz eyes on top of the hook shank using a figure-8 wrap.
Wrap around the base of the eyes to secure them.
Run the thread up in front of the eyes.
Cut a generous piece of Sparkle Braid and run it along the body.
Wrap the thread in front of the eyes to secure the Sparkle Braid.
Spiral the Sparkle Braid up the body.
Tie off the Sparkle Braid in front of the eyes.
Tie in the Arctic Fox wing on the underside of the hook shank.
Tie in 4 strands of Krystal Flash on top of the wing.
Whip finish the fly.
Apply Zap-A-Gap to the thread wraps and eyes.
Apply Loon UV Clear Fly Finish to the head and cure with a UV light.
