Tying instructions
Secure the hook in the vise.
Start the thread behind the eye and wrap back to the bend.
Tie in a small portion of brown Z-Lon for the tail/trailing shuck.
Dub a sparse abdomen with a lighter shade of olive dubbing.
Clip a clump of dun-colored snowshoe rabbit for the wing.
Tie in the wing so the tips come just over the junction of the body and trailing shuck.
Work the wing around the hook with your fingernail to flare it.
Trim the butts of the wing.
Dub a slightly larger thorax with olive/brown dubbing.
Whip finish and trim the thread.
Trim the tail to a little over one hook gap in length.
