Tying instructions

  1. Secure the Ahrex TP610 Trout Predator Streamer #1/0 hook in the vise.

  2. Attach the 210 Fly Master Plus white thread behind the hook eye and wrap it in touching turns to the hook point.

  3. Wrap the thread forward to just behind the hook eye, leaving space for the head.

  4. Spin the thread to create a small thread ball at the bend of the hook.

  5. Apply Zap-A-Gap to the thread ball to secure it.

  6. Select a sparse clump of white Squimpish Hair and tie it in at the bend using pinch wraps, extending one shank-length beyond the bend.

  7. Trim the excess Squimpish Hair flush with the tie-in point.

  8. Blend a few strands of chartreuse Wing 'N Flash with the Squimpish Hair tail for added flash.

  9. Tie in the blended tail material backwards at the bend, then fold it over itself and secure with a bullet tie.

  10. Select another sparse clump of white Squimpish Hair for the collar and tie it in behind the hook eye, ensuring it flares evenly around the shank.

  11. Tie in 2-3 strands of Hareline Strung Peacock Herl on top of the collar for counter shading, extending slightly beyond the collar.

  12. Wrap the thread forward to the hook eye, securing all materials in place.

  13. Whip finish behind the hook eye with 4-5 turns to secure the thread.

  14. Trim the thread close and apply a coat of Zap-A-Gap head cement to the thread wraps for durability.
