Tying instructions

  1. Secure hook in vise and start thread behind the eye.

  2. Wrap thread to the bend to create a base.

  3. Tie in a tuft of moose mane hair at the bend, creating a short tail.

  4. Tie in fluorescent orange chenille at the tie-in point for the tail.

  5. Fold a 10-inch strand of white rubber leg material over itself twice, creating four strands.

  6. Tie in the folded rubber legs at the middle of the shank, with two strands on each side.

  7. Wrap the chenille forward, around the legs, to create a bulky body.

  8. Tie off the chenille behind the eye and trim the excess.

  9. Pull the moose mane hair forward over the body and tie it down behind the eye.

  10. Whip finish to create a head.

  11. Trim the rubber legs to the desired length.
