Tying instructions
Step 1: Secure the streamer hook in the vise.
Step 2: Start the thread behind the hook eye and build a small thread base.
Step 3: Tie in bead chain eyes on top of the hook shank using figure-eight wraps. Secure with a drop of UV resin.
Step 4: Trim a bundle of craft fur approximately 2x the length of the hook and tie it in at the rear of the hook shank.
Step 5: Use a permanent marker to create a barred pattern along the length of the craft fur tail.
Step 6: Tie in Ice Chenille at the base of the tail. Apply two wraps to create a thick base.
Step 7: Tie in monofilament eyes on either side of the hook shank at the base of the tail.
Step 8: Wrap the Ice Chenille forward to cover 1/2 to 2/3 of the shank. Tie off and trim excess.
Step 9: Tie in two sets of silicon legs using cross wraps. Space them evenly across the shank.
Step 10: Tie in a dubbing brush at the rear of the bead chain eyes. Trim any excess wire.
Step 11: Wrap the dubbing brush forward, pulling fibers back after each wrap to form an even collar. Tie off and trim excess.
Step 12: Wrap the thread forward to the bead chain eyes, whip finish, and trim the thread.
Step 13: Apply a thin coat of UV resin over the thread wraps and cure.
