Pinch the foam strip on top of the hook shank with your left hand, and use a pinch wrap to secure it.
Wrap thread forward over the foam to create a secure base.
Add tan dry fly dubbing to the thread.
Wrap the dubbed thread forward to create a body, leaving a portion of the hook shank bare.
Tie in a strand of fluorescent pink ultra dry yarn on top of the hook shank.
Fold the tan ultra dry yarn back over the foam and secure with thread wraps.
Fold the foam back over the yarn and secure with thread wraps.
