Tying instructions
Secure hook in vise.
Lay down a thread base, building up a small bump of thread to prevent materials from sliding.
Select a few white hackle feathers, stack them together, and trim to desired tail length.
Tie in the hackle feathers at the bend to form the tail.
Select a clump of tan marabou for the body, strip down some of the material to reduce bulk.
Tie in the tan marabou on top of the hook shank, just in front of the tail.
Select a clump of olive marabou for the top of the fly.
Tie in the olive marabou on top of the hook shank, just in front of the tan marabou.
Select two strands of chartreuse crystal flash, double them over, and tie in on top of the hook shank, just in front of the olive marabou.
Select a small clump of light blue bucktail, flatten it out, and tie in on each side of the hook shank, just in front of the chartreuse crystal flash.
Select a few strands of peacock herl, and tie in on top of the hook shank, just in front of the light blue bucktail.
Tie off the thread and whip finish.
Apply a thin coat of fly head cement to the thread wraps.
Apply a dab of super glue on each side of the fly head.
Attach the eyes to the super glue on each side of the fly head.
